Vegan BBQ Pulled-Pork Wonton Tostadas
I wanted to make something different! A savory, yet healthy, simple tostada. I thought of ways I could make it in my head. Visualized how it would look and taste. And it taste much better than I thought! It's great as an appetizer or an entree'!
Ingredients:
Won Ton small wrappers (Nasoya brand or any)
Vegan pulled pork (Gardein brand)
Mozzarella veggie shreds
Romaine lettuce
Homemade Pico De Gallo (Salsa: roma tomatoes, shallots, green onions, garlic, cilantro, fresh jalapeno (half), spanish extra virgin olive oil, lemon and season to taste: sea salt & pepper)
Directions for Salsa:
Chop Roma Tomatoes and Cilantro
Mince Shallots, Garlic, Green Onions, Jalapeno
Mix together in a bowl, then add freshly squeezed lemon juice, and season to taste
Directions:
Fry wonton wrappers in Vegetable Oil, or any that you prefer (set aside)
Cook pulled-pork (no need to season, already seasoned in bbq sauce)
Top already fried won ton wrappers with pulled pork, chopped romaine lettuce, mozz cheese, and pico de gallo.
Simple as that! Enjoy :)
